Wasp Control
Wasps are a constant concern in Central Otago. There are five varieties of wasps that we frequently treat over the Summer period - the German Wasp and Common Wasp, and three varieties of Paper Wasp. We use a broad spectrum approach to this pest, specifically targeting nests.
We use a number of tools and a varied approach to neutralise this pest.
Flies & Insects
A fly's reproduction cycle takes approximately 1-week. After flies mate, the female fly is ready to deposit eggs. Female flies can lay 150 eggs in one go, and within less than a week, can be added up to 800 or more eggs!
We use effective knock down sprays with excellent repellency, offering solutions to flies that can carry disease and also to other insects.
Bed Bugs & Fleas
Both bed bugs and fleas are unique pests - they each require specialised approaches to resolve an infestation. Bed bugs require the code of practice under license by PMANZ.
The treatment for wasps, flies, bed bugs, fleas and insects needs to have an integrated approach conducted by an experienced licenced pest controller from Pest Free Otago Ltd.
